About Cian

Cian is a Chartered Physiotherapist and Certified Athletic Therapist and clinic owner at O’Toole Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Clinic. Cian graduated from Institute of Technology Carlow in 2019 with a first-class Honours degree in BSc Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Therapy specialising in Musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Following this, he began his Physiotherapy career by obtaining a highly sought after place on the Professional Masters in Physiotherapy programme in UCD gaining a profound understanding of Neurological conditions such as stroke, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease, Cardiorespiratory conditions and advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

During his combined 6 years of education in the field of Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy, Cian has treated a diverse range of Musculoskeletal and Neurological conditions and has advanced skills in the areas of Strength and Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Orthopaedic Manual Therapy to treat a diverse range of patients and conditions. He strives to ensure the highest level of function and performance is achieved with everyone at the clinic. He has trained extensively in using exercise as medicine to ensure optimal pain free functional movement.

Exercise therapy plays a fundamental role in pain and performance management. In recognition of this, patients have full access to his Rehabilitation facility to provide the highest quality of care and education. Cian has served as lead Athletic Therapist with several GAA and Rugby teams.

Cian enjoys an active lifestyle with particular interest in GAA and strength training.
