Sophie joined the team at O’Toole Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Clinic in 2025.

Sophie graduated with a master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Edinburgh Napier University in 2024. Prior to this she completed her undergraduate degree in Athletic Therapy & Training at Dublin City University specialising in Musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.

Sophie recently returned to Ireland, having spent the past three years living in Edinburgh, completing her studies and gaining experience in NHS hospital and community settings. Over the past year, she worked as a Physiotherapist in Edinburgh’s Royal Children’s hospital, treating a variety of orthopaedic, neurology and respiratory conditions.

Throughout her studies and professional experience, Sophie has developed advanced skills in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and manual therapy to treat a diverse range of patients. Her passion for Physiotherapy is driven by her active lifestyle and she is committed to delivering high quality care, that empowers patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation, supporting them to achieve their full potential.

Sophie values combining exercise rehabilitation with manual therapy to help reduce pain and improve function, ultimately enhancing her patient’s quality of life. She is currently completing her Pilates teacher training and has also served as a lead Therapist for various GAA and soccer teams both in Ireland and in the UK.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys running, Pilates and playing Gaelic Football.
